When the Cumberland Trail is completed there will be approximately 45 miles of trail in Cumberland County in nine sections. Some sections have been completed but the route of others has yet to be defined. site:

From North to South the (unofficial) trail-heads in Cumberland County are:

  1. Devil's Breakfast Table to Anioch Bridge - 7.5 miles
  2. This section is under construction.

  3. Antioch Bridge to Keyes Road - 2.2 miles
  4. This section is along the road.

  5. Keyes Road to Yellow Gate - 4.7 miles
  6. This section is open for hiking.

  7. Yellow Gate to Power Lines - 2.5 miles
  8. This section is open for hiking.

  9. Power Lines to Crab Orchard - 3.5 miles
  10. This section is along the road.

  11. Crab Orchard to Ozone Falls - 5 miles
  12. This section is along the road.

  13. Ozone Falls to Black Mountain - 6 miles
  14. This section is under construction.

  15. Black Mountain Route 68 - 3.6 miles
  16. This section is open for hiking.

  17. Route 68 to Head of Sequatchie - 10 miles
  18. This section has been open for hiking for many years but there are property ownership problems at the south end and the connection to Head of Sequatchie is under construction.
